'The Girlies' launch pickleball merch, sold out in 5 hours

Anna Bright and Rachel Rohrabacher are affectionately known as "The Girlies" in the professional pickleball ranks - just two besties dominating their way to Championship Sunday in women’s dubs week after week on the PPA Tour.

Now, Bright and Rohrabacher have taken their friendship up a notch and made their own merch: The Girlies Pickleball Club. And their first feature is a green crewneck with an adorable white design and two female figures playing America's fastest-growing sport.

With a price tag of $98, this pullover is simply adorable. It's a subtle way to represent your favorite women’s doubles tandem whenever you hit the court.

“We are so excited about releasing our brand this year. When we first started saying and calling ourselves ‘The Girlies’ back in March of last year, we had no idea it would catch on as much as it did. The fans have really embraced us as ‘The Girlies’” said Rohrabacher. “We are just so excited to find a way to begin building a community for the people that support us.”

Launched on Monday, Feb. 3 at noon, the crewnecks completely sold out in just five hours, and if you weren’t among the lucky few to snag one, it's gone for good.

According to Bright and Rohrabacher, this won’t be the last time we see something exciting from the duo off the court.

“We have some really exciting stuff planned for this year, and we can’t wait to share it with everyone,” teased Rohrabacher.

With the immediate success of the crewnecks, the merch is clearly in high demand, so anything that they plan to release next - whether it’s more hoodies or even hats - will go super fast.

Personally, I’m hoping they launch a series on Pickleballtv that follows their lives, training, friendship, etc. That would be an enjoyable watch!

Friends and fellow pros Dekel Bar, Dylan Frazier, and Parris Todd secured a sweatshirt. And when Todd shared her unboxing video on Instagram, her boyfriend  Hunter Johnson immediately put the sweatshirt on.

We all want to be a girlie, don’t we?

Mark your calendars when Bright and Rohrabacher tease that something exciting is coming. Cancel your plans and prepare to anxiously sit on your laptop and wait in the queue like we’re trying to get Eras Tour tickets.

I can’t wait to see what 'The Girlies' have up their sleeve in 2025.
