It’s officially spooky season, and finding the perfect Halloween costume is a top priority.

If showcasing your love of America's fastest-growing sport is your objective, there are plenty of creative outfits to choose from.

Here are a few ideas:

Tyson McGuffin

McGuffin isn't just a fan favorite on tour, he also has such a defined look that he would be the perfect pro to emulate for Halloween. All you need is a white or black tank top, black shorts, two arm sleeve tattoo sleeves, a black hat worn backwards, a bright pair of Skechers shoes, a sweat band, and a chain necklace. And if you want to make it old-school McGuffin, you can also wear a mullet.

Bonus points if you carry around a Cosmic Crisp apple and a can of Miller Lite. 

Pickleball and paddle

Sometimes, it’s nice to keep things simple and buy tunics in the shape of a pickleball and matching paddle. These costumes are funny and wonderfully easy. You can wear comfortable leggings, shorts, and a T-shirt underneath, throw on this giant pickleball, and call it a day. You could get extra creative, too, and draw the Vulcan logo for kicks and giggles. 

But, if you don’t want to walk around trick-or-treating as a big pickleball, you can opt for something a little more low-key like this sweatshirt that says, “Pretend I’m a pickleball.”

Jessie Irvine

Irvine is another pro with a distinct look that you can emulate on Halloween. With her iconic space buns, Ombraz glasses, Engage tank top, and high slit Nike shorts, you can easily rock Irvine’s signature look. 

Leigh Waters

If you’re going to dress like a pickleball coach, you might as well be the most stylish coach on tour and dress as Mama Waters. She has a signature look for sitting courtside cheering on her daughter. Just deck yourself out in Gucci. It doesn’t have to be real. There are tons of knockoffs. You could also get crafty with fabric paint or fabric and DIY your own Gucci look.

Wear Gucci shorts with the iconic red and green stripe paired with a Gucci surf club tank paired with white tennis shoes with your hair pulled into a ponytail and you can go as Waters’ lookalike. 

Pickle

Pickle's in the name, so why not go as a pickle? You can also carry around your paddle. You’d be a pretty big dill at your Halloween party.  

Callie Smith

All you need is a pleated tennis skirt in a bold color, preferably pink or blue, with a matching top. Then, put on a hat and grab a ribbon that matches your outfit and braid your hair. If you really want to commit, buy fake hair extensions or use yarn to create a long, beautiful braid.

Anna Leigh Waters

If you want to dress like the No. 1 woman in the world, this is a perfect excuse to buy a new FILA set because that's all she wears on the court. Wear FILA's cream top and matching skirt paired with Waters' go-to FILA court shoes. Add eyewear, a visor, and braid your hair into a simple three-strand braid and you’ll look like a pro.  

Take it to the next level by carrying around a Paddletek and an oversized trophy, wear three gold medals around your neck, or buy a crown to dress like the frequent Triple Crown winner.

Wear a New Balance shirt tied in the back so it’s cropped, wear a colorful bikini and white shoes with white high socks. Grab a tennis racket (or her pickleball paddle!) pull your hair into a ponytail, add a New Balance visor, and you’re good to go. 

You can either be Genie, or put a Sam Querrey spin on it, but they’re both so funny and timely. If I saw someone in this set at my Halloween party, I would laugh about it for the rest of the year.

The ghosts of pickleball’s past

This is where you can really let your creativity shine. You could dress like the elderly who used to (and still do) dominate in rec pickleball. After all, it was an elderly persons’ sport for the majority of pickleball’s history. 

So grab a knee brace, a walker, eye glasses, a wooden paddle, a gray hair wig and be old-school pickleball. You can even rant all night long about how pickleball is getting too fast and all these youngsters are stealing your courts. Talk about the good old days.

Or, just go as a pickleball-playing sheet ghost. 

Pickleball pup

This one is just the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. And pickleball players have some of the cutest dogs out there, so might as well dress up your pup as your favorite sport. I need to buy a dog and dress him up in this costume because it makes me smile.
